18 Nov 2025

Over the past year, we’ve listened closely to our charity partners and reflected on our practices and on how we can ensure our funding is more impactful, equitable and responsive.

The result is a new chapter in our grant making. From January 2026 we will be moving to quarterly calls for applications, with two calls for each of our four main funding themes annually.

What’s changing

  • There will now be specific periods (application windows) during which you can apply for each of our funding themes.
  • We are streamlining our application and reporting processes so grantees can spend more time doing the work that matters.
  • Approximately two weeks before each application window there will be an opportunity to join us online for a FAQs webinar for charities interested in applying.
  • Our new framework places equity at the core of decision making. By assessing applications from charities delivering on the same theme together, we will have a wider view of emerging needs and will be able to make better informed decisions.
