As a Foundation we are committed to responding quickly in the event of humanitarian crises across the world.
Sadly in 2022 we experienced a number of these and partnered with leading humanitarian agencies, the Red Cross and Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to offer our support in the most effective way possible. Overall, 18.9% of funds were distributed to the crises in Ukraine and flooding in Pakistan, helping people in desperate need.
Through our support the charities were able to provide food, water, first aid, medicines, warm clothes and shelter to people affected by these crises. Hear from DEC on the impact this support made:
In addition, we also gave extra support to our long-standing charity partner Hope and Homes for Children, who were also on the frontline, ensuring orphanage care children were not left behind and helping them to escape the conflict safely.
