Hospice UK is a national charity who support more than 200 hospices across the UK, providing support to over 300,000 dying people and their families each year.
They are dedicated to improving the quality of palliative care, and equip professionals with the knowledge, skills and expertise needed to deliver care in any setting.
As part of our continuing commitment to the hospice sector we launched a funding programme in partnership with Hospice UK to support expansion and innovation of hospice services in rural and remote communities. Through our funding, we have supported 14 hospices in delivering a range of projects which is helping increase access for all potential service users of hospice care.
