Covid continued to impact our world and in particular in overseas communities. With the support of the SJP community, we ran a special appeal to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee who provided frontline support to those most impacted.
The Christina Noble Foundation supports vulnerable children in Vietnam and Mongolia. They work to establish long-term relationships with children and their families to support and empower them to live happy, emotionally rich, and independent lives.
The Foundation has built a strong relationship with Young Gloucestershire (YG), a charity that supports disadvantaged young people who are facing challenges in their lives. Over the last 10 years, we have supported the charity with funding, volunteering and mentoring.
Empire Fighting Chance was born on Bristol’s streets to fight the impact of deprivation on the lives of young people. They use a combination of non-contact boxing and intensive personal support to challenge and inspire young people to realise their unique potential. £9,344 was awarded to the charity to fund the staffing costs of a Bristol Coaching Team to deliver training.
From transforming the life of individuals to enabling organisational growth, the impact of our funding in the Mental Health sector is helping at both an individual and organisational level.
Cerebra helps children with brain conditions and their families to discover a better life together. In 2021, they received £10,000 from the Foundation towards the salary of a Sleep Practitioner who helped Lucian and his family.
